Ditto, I have that one coming from my local pusher.  Now if I can just finish the 3 already in progress  :facepalm:

I have two on order with Chuck...  One's in PC; the other a Conrail patch job.  If I follow a proto photo (there are plenty on CRHS' site) can I still play along?

I think if this challenge included any PD3000 car, we could have more participants.......the car shown is the wrong era for me as well....

Nice idea, but I'm not too sure about this particular model:

The roofwalk supports and some of the graphics are wrong, and honestly the end frame details look fairly chunky.  Might want to put some BLMA 100T trucks on there too.  How is the ride height?

Yikes, I hadn't seen that MBK photo until now. I ordered mine on the basis of Bryan's photos.  No arguments about the chunky end cage detail, though I tend to find that kind of thing less offensive in person.  The ride height looks pretty reasonable, based on Bryan's shot.   I will likely swap out the wheels for FVM wheels (smaller flanges), and I'll definitely swap out the couplers and draft gear.  ;)  There appears to be some variation in the roofwalk support details.  Maybe this car would make a better target:

In any case Ed, this car will be an oddball in my fleet.  I'm really waiting for you to make me some Trinity PD hoppers.   8)

I forgot about this until now.  I picked up the car from MBK, but the roofwalk is bent and the wheels look to be a combination of 33 and 36 inches.  Anyway, I'll try to work out something tomorrow.
