There is a picture in the Great Northern color pictorial, volume two, on page 111, showing 6 of the first scheme (model number 01-03), being transfered at Seattle, for shipment to Alaska, for the oil pipeline.  The photo just says late 60's, but the TTX flat has a 1965 date, and the trailers do not have ACI labels, like the model.

asarge:  Thank you!  I have some ancient Con-Cor models of the Southern trailers, but always had doubts about them, as CC wasn't always noted for their accuracy.  Looks like I'll be replacing them.

Albert's Sea-Land picture is in the GN Equipment Color Pictorial, not the straight GN Color Pictorial, for those looking for it.  And, since they clearly were used in the GN, and therefore probably on the BN, it looks like I need at least one.
