Wow, I don't have my own Davenport

How did this come about? All the CL locomotive were lined up next to the car shop to be sold off, guess you picked the smallest one. Did you happen to get a dump car in the deal? There is one on display close to me, but it is one of the older steam era dump cars.

BTW another one of my never ending projects is to model the Carbon Limestone in Nn3. Started off here:

I think the layout will end up smaller and focus on the quarry side of things. I've started on a Whitcomb as well.

Chris:
No, my loco. was out in the "Back 40" by itself. I got inside the Plymouths and Whitcombs all lined up there and took some cab shots. BTW, I didn't get too good a price on it but not many narrow gauge Davenports left so I went on with the purchase. No cars as such but did buy and get them to cut up two flatcars so I could get the 38 inch gauge wheelsets, etc.

I wanted to get one the last time Micro Mark had them on sale, but bought other stuff instead.  When my dexterity and my eyesight get worse I'm gonna conjure up an sugarcane switching layout in south Louisiana post-WWII.
