Micro-Trains PS heavyweight passenger trucks?

I am looking for a source of these trucks in silver and Milwaukee Road brown.  Has anyone seen them online in something other than black?  I know I can contact MT directly but they also only show black and I would rather save a couple of bucks if a hobby shop with an online presence has them.

That's funny. For months I was looking for a set in black, and all eBay would show me was silver. Now I see nothing, but eBay is probably your best bet.

Do they come in colors other than black? MT's website only shows the one style (003 02 180).

Cheers,

Those are the commonwealth-style lightweight trucks, not the PS heavyweight trucks. AFAIK, the heavyweight trucks have always been black only.

I would like one set to swap out for the black on my Milwaukee Road RPO, and 2-3 sets in silver so they will match with my CB&Q silver paint cars I want to do.  They offer them in brown and silver on other cars, MR & UP come to mind, but not individually, at least that I can find.

Since MT molds the trucks in-house, they sometimes mold them in specific colors needed for the paint scheme they are running.  But they do not offer them for individual sale in that color.  I have not followed the heavyweight releases, but I wouldn't be surprised if some Union Pacific ones came with silver trucks.

They officially don't have the color assortments available for sale on the various parts, but they usually will sell them directly if you ask and they have them on hand.  Email Joe for assistance.  Note for future reference that the odds of parts on hand in various colors increase if said parts were used for one of the recent monthly releases.  The older the release, the less likely the odd-colored parts will be on hand.
