Misprinted Micro-Trains Car?

I found this on eBay, and was wondering if the car was misprinted:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/380758284631?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649

I've seen "Overnight" cars with a Red S and black "outhern", but never like the car above.

Have I been living a sheltered life, or is the car a misprint?

Hmm... I dunno...

Two scientists create a teleportation ray, and they try it out on a cricket. They put the cricket on one of the two teleportation pads in the room, and they turn the ray on.
The cricket jumps across the room onto the other pad.
"It works! It works!"

I'm proud of you Kisatchie.  You've been hanging around the Railwire enough to become a prototype savant!

We'd call that one a Foob more than a misprint.

This was the first release made 6/1987, apparently the research was lacking (on reprints in 1/1996 and 9/2004 the colors were corrected)

How many of you have the original run of KD's "Main Central" PS-1?  I've never heard it mentioned, but the herald is missing the "E".  This car dates to the early years, when the underframe and trucks still said Kadee, and there wee no end reporting marks.

I have a "Main Central" car, and also a later "Maine Central" car where the first e is clearly a correction (appearance is slightly off from the rest of "Main").
The doors are also different colors.

I'm sorry Dave, I'm afraid I can't do that.

George:  Congratulations on having TWO misprints of the same car!  At least I know mine wasn't a one-off mistake.  Of course, it has no collectors value, having been weathered, lowered, had body mount couplers added, and run for decades...

I'll accept different color doors, unless it's supposed to be a brand-new car.  They get damaged, and replaced, so colors don't always match.  In fact, I've deliberately changed a few of mine just to show repairs.

MT also forgot the red ball on the early black overnight cars (red ball behind the yellow overnight arrow). Not criticizing MT as they corrected it on later runs, just pointing it out as it's applicable being another overnight car:
