I need some info on what type of trucks are under this passenger car. I know the car is supposed to be ex CP. Not sure what car it was. Going to try and replicate this car.
Here's a link to the photo in question. http://www.flickr.com/photos/sneebly/3229758747

Thanks for the help, Jon

I don't know, but they're strange looking things, aren't they?

Didn't Mark (spookshow) just have someone draw those up for Shapeways? If not they were pretty close.

I was thinking the same thing but thought our resident CP guru also known as "Puddy" would have this answer for me.  :D

They look exactly like these:

General Steel Castings

Thanks Chris for the info. Now I just need to get a set. Has anyone here purchased these trucks? Also I noted that you need to be a member of Shapeways to ask any questions. I only need one pair and can not see paying $24.00 for 8 trucks and never using the rest for any other project I may have. It is a good price for them at $3.00 a pair though. So my second question is anyone here have a pair of  these already that they are willing to sell  to me?

The car is ex-CPR, either a 2200-series coach or a Grove-series sleeper - same general design with different window arrangements.  Both are available in N scale as resin kits by Geoff Gooderham and available from Central Hobbies in Vancouver, BC.  As noted by others, the trucks are available from Shapeways.

Cheers,
