I like your final color, Roger.  Only on RW can we go four pages debating which direction a horse's butt should face :D The foregoing is meant as a compliment to the group's willingness to help out another member.

As my final contribution on statue color I would be remiss to ignore Abraham Lincoln's tomb which is a few miles from my office.  To cut down on state expenditures for statue polishing, Abe's bust is at kid friendly level and 200,000 visitors a year rub his nose for good luck.  A few years ago they raised the statue to cut down on wear and tear on poor Abe's nose but there was such a public outcry that they put it back to rubbing height.  Oh, the indignities of fame ;)

Best regards,

Roger

Starting the kids early on the assault rifles, huh Richie?    ;)

The whole family learned the rules of firearm safety and the pride of tighter groups through practice .

Shoppes of Grand Prairie in Peoria, IL has a huge statue of a lion.
He is nominally black; local custom apparently advocates rubbing his scrotum
which I noted was shiny bronze.
No body has time in the 1940's to rub parts of statues anatomy.

Replaced Kato Unitrack with Atlas code 65 True-Track.
Moving on to replace part of mainline track.
