I just installed my new ACAD software and was organizing my files and came across some railcar drawings I've done from field measurements. I was just wondering if any manufacturers take submitted material for possible future product development. I so far have a Conrail former NYC 120g class gondola and I believe a Conrail G52N class gon (I looked up the car number I had on the CAD file for the 120G but I didn't include the number for the other gondola in the CAD file it was included on the tablet used when the dimensions were taken which is now gone
but I looked at the CRHS site and it appears to be a G52N). I also have a Thrall high side gondola built in 1979, and a CSX high side gon former Squaw Creek. Just wanting to pass this on to anyone interested to help out.
