The Citrus Empire Model Railroad Club was the very large O scale club located under the racetrack grandstand at the Los Angeles County Fairgrounds in Pomona. After occupying that location since 1948 they were evicted around 2006.

John Bishop, Citrus Empire Club Secretary, sent me a note in 2010 mentioning that the Club is building a new layout in a garage in Covina, although another report said the location was West Covina. The layout is owned by Bruce Francis & is under construction by Bruce and members of the Citrus Empire Model RR Club and the Orange County O Scalers.
The new layout is not ready for viewing on a tour yet but the benchwork for the mainline is now complete for both levels, and they have made a good start on laying track:
