KATO Budd car kits available

I received this news in the KATO USA newsletter....

seems to be a bunch of open stock on these...I'd love to know if any of these cars car be used as cores to model specific ATSF Budd cars....I have no problem cutting cars to correct lengths to fit available car sides...it seems to me the basic underframe, trucks, ends, and roofs would make a great start for a bash...and cheap at this price!

An additional note:  the cars are on sale through tomorrow only.

 Site says 12/20/12 also.

Wish I had access to a milling machine, use these as core kits to do my BN Business train fleet, would only need about 10ish...
