I will admit right up front that Mike Skibbe is the whole reason I started this project (Stony Smith gets part of the blame).

I've been wanting a caboose different from the MTL one and nice as it is the AZL is IMHO way overpriced.

Next thing I know Mike posted pics of his stony boose and that was what got me started. The car is not done yet but here it is to the paint stage, and I will admit I am pleased. :D

Colour is Krylon Fusion (yep rattlecan) Red Pepper over a ruddy brown primer.Boose will be lettered for my Grande Valley Railway.

Next boose project will be Stony's bay windows.Anybody know where I can find some Chessie Safety caboose decals in Z?

Nice.  If your prototype has it, .010" square styrene can be used to model the missing standing seams on the cupola roof.  I left the diagonal raised panels off.  Both items are something Stoney could add to his solid model.

This one is for my freelanced road so the seams are not that important to me .The info will come in handy though as I plan to do a C&O/CSX version too. Thanks for the size info for the ribs I will see if I can bug stony into making that change. :D

I'm trying to convince him to add another cross piece to the end railings (a knee knocker so to speak) but Shapeways was down because of Sandy.
