Yep. Railroads can't paint general service cars with logos and colours of shippers.For the "why?" of the rule, imagine if you will that Mickey's Cheese is also a customer of WSOR. They request a boxcar for loading, and the one that's available is the one with Sargento Cheese's (their competitors) logo. If you were Mickey, would you be impressed to be loading your product into a vehicle advertising your competition?
...If it was a Sargento car, then it's only going to really have the potential to be used by Sargento (in theory); same with the Tropicana cars, since I suspect they're only being used for Tropicana traffic
Does this rule prevent Sargento from having a fleet of boxcars/reefers with their logo on the side?
