1938 Hiawatha brass sided pass set build.

     After building the 1938 GHQ pewter F-7 Hiawatha, I decided to also build the 1938 pass set and let a set of DL-109s pull the other set.
These are GHQ brass side car kits, using American Limited Core Car Kits.
Cars built are, RPO w/o Skirts, Express Baggage, Express Tap Car, Diner, three Coachs, Parlor Car and the Parlor-Observation Beavertail.




All built and primed, ready for me to paint and decal.

Very Nice!
Although I love having accurate RTR sets of passenger cars...I also enjoy the building process involved in constructing equipment unique to various Railroads; equipment we're not likely to see done accurately in RTR fashion..
