I'm looking for photos and drawings of the Spokane Portland & Seattle 4-4-2 Atlantic class C-1 steam locomotive.
These were identical to Great Northern class K-1.

They were numbered 600–609, built in 1909.   I have one or two photos scoured off the web.  My
couple of NP and SP&S books don't have any photos.

Want them for a kitbash project.

Just thought I'd close the loop on this.
Thank you, Chris, for your reply.

There are a series of books on SP&S steam locomotives written by Ed Austin.
"Steam Locomotives of the Spokane, Portland, & Seattle Railway"
They are softcover, and each volume focuses on one or two classes of engine.  They are around $20 - $25.

Volume 6 covers the 4-6-2 and 4-4-2 classes.  All the books contain good reference photos.

These books are published by the SP&S Historical Society, so they do not have ISBN numbers,
but you can find them on-line if you search a bit.

(I dropped a hint to my son who asked what he could get me for my birthday, so hopefully,
a copy of volume 6 is coming my way ;-)  )

Ha!  Ed, I just saw this reply of yours.
I'm afraid so... heh heh.

That Black River Loco Works 4-4-2 Atlantic I have, which is a PRR "E6", is about to be remade into
an SP&S 4-4-2.   In truth, it is much much closer to the SP&S prototype than it ever was to the PRR one.
The boiler is too small, and the drivers are too small, for it to be a Pennsy Atlantic.

So fear not, at least it will still be a steam Atlantic.
