Yes the scenery is blue foam insulation,stacked,glued, and carved then covered with gray Tile Grout. The article says train leingths are about 24 cars, kind of short if you ask me for a layout that size, I would have gone with 30.Some inovative features like short built-in legs to keep the fascias off the floor so you can reach under the edge and lift up to attach the regular legs.
