Has anybody tried to strip a Bachmann Acela Engine or Car or the HHP-8?  How about removing the decals?

I want to do one up as the Bombardier JetTrain which was a one off prototype based on the Acela, but using jet turbines inside of pantograpghs.

91% isopropyl alcohol should work.

I have bottles of the stuff, but curious as to how B-mann shell will react to it, and how stubborn the paint is.

I have to use 70% on the Metroliners so with these being newer, I am curious.

was squeaky clean
