I was looking into doing animation and lighting with microcontrollers and wanted to know if anyone has or is doing anything with microcontrollers. If so, what are you doing, what are you using, and how best does someone get started into microcontrollers?

Thanks,
Dave

Might want to get in touch with Kim Vellore--he does quite a lot of animation work with microcontrollers.

Here's his home site: http://www.kimsartshop.com/

He's also a member of TrainBoard: http://www.trainboard.com/grapevine/showthread.php?t=89820

There's some information on what he's doing and how in the above thread.
