Managed to catch another CSX named loco at St Denis last Saturday.  Was running on the northbound juice train:

Since Amtrak was running holiday day extras all weekend I went over to the Northeast corridor to see what was going on.  Most extras were running with MARC equipment with Amtrak locos:

One set of NJT MU's running:

The one shot I had turned out blurry and not worth posting.  Sorry.

Bob,

I've seen that very same unit: The W. Thomas Rice Special.  It's the second unit on this trash train on January 12, 2008:

A history lesson.  Things weren't always so rosy for this locomotive:

Good to see it back on the rails!

An update on the RR bridge replacement in Youngstown, OH:

The roadbed is all graded and I'm sure track isn't that far away. They had filled in a road over the river to work on the bridge, but that is now gone and the river is back to normal.
And now with the trees bare you car see the out line of the bridges from the Center St. crossing:

Are they swapping traction motors in the two "craned" shots?
No farms, no food. Support your local farmer's market!

The Geep was getting a new traction motor, a warranty replacement from a recent truck rebuild. The U-boats swapped front trucks. The ex-Conrail unit had bad (thin) wheels on the front. The other u-boat needs a new prime mover:(
