Actually, this presents some amusing thought-exercises when developing an operation session, when events such as the following might appear spontaneously:

"2:34 PM, bridge destroyed; one locomotive, three boxcars and a coach SOL..."

Talk about a defect detector :)

I could see this as the basis of a final ops session for a modeler who is moving or otherwise trashing his layout.

No, this is a scan from the Georgia State Archives. Collectors have driven prices of these letters to astronomical heights. I bet this letter would go for thousands of bucks if it were privately held.
