I like it , but it's hard to get any idea of scale without an object of known size in the photo.
The real large crack looks too big for normal asphalt cracking and must have been caused by some large subgrade displacement.

I really think Dan Crowley (where did he go anyway?) nailed aligator cracked aged asphalt. I can't remember his method or materials, but it looked great in N scale. - It's probably archived on Atlas. ???

I have to agree. Big cracks? Small cracks? Without the context of, say, a vehicle, or even part of one, it's hard to say. It generally looks good, nice coloration.

I89 in Vermont has some stretches where the asphalt has a very pink color to it.
