getting a 4x8 sheet of homaote cut is problematic.

Bring a cordless circular saw with you to Home Depot(HD) and cut it in the parking lot.

BTW, HD didn't come to me right away, HD in my world stands for Harley Davidson. ;)

Can't you use a knife to cut it? I have cut 4x8 sheets of foam out in the parking lot with a knife.

Around here that's not always the only thing getting cut by a knife in a parking lot!  :-X

the layout configuration has been finalized.  i have something going on all day tomorrow, but hope to get some things done in the evening and on Sunday.  should have some good updates for the peanut gallery to comment on ;)

I'd check your depot to see if they can't rip it for you into 2ft strips. Almost every depot has a vertical cutting table in the rear. Worth a shot, kinda odd if your depot doesn't have one by now.
