Some more photos taken in Montreal on August 5, 1956:

MTC 1333 down by the Waterfront poses in front of an ivy-covered convent. The lack of highway traffic is surprising today.


Our chartered car, MTC 1333, at the Victoria Loop.


A "Golden Chariot" sightseeing car passes a heavy two-man suburban car.


Someone else will have to start the Thursday photo sharing session next week. I'll be visiting Noo Awluns that day next week...Not finished with Montreal yet, though.

When I went to Union Station last Saturday I parked in Alexandria, Va and took Metro into the station.  Northbound Amtrak in Alexandria, VA:
