Again, the Montreal & Southern Counties, at St. Lambert and Marieville, PQ, on August 4, 1956.

Heavyweight steel suburban car 322 rounds a curve by the carhouse in St. Lambert.


Suburban car 323 on a spur alongside the carhouse in St. Lambert.


Wooden interurban car No. 600 departs Marieville, PQ, station to turn on the wye for return to St. Lambert in the morning.

of Lake Champlain, (the Hudson River flows south).

I finally got aroung to scanning some pics I took back in early nineties (although it appears that the building is still there) of what I believe to be a Glenwood Springs industry in Minneapolis.  I always though it was neat and had quite a few tracks in a pretty small area.

As a blue blooded old easterner, I've got to say that those are some of the most beautiful rail images I've ever seen.  Unbelievable...  It must have been awesome to be there in that part of God's creation in the presence of all that raw power...  Thanks.  My day is starting off on the right foot!

Thanks guys! I've been to Winslow once before, but this was my first time with my own wheels (the freedom was nice!) and was fortunate to join some mates at the overpass just outside of town for some sunset shots. After spending the previous two days driving across the southwest, it was nice to be able to capture the amazing scenery and some trains too! Pity about the wind on that day - way too gusty! The La Posada is a great spot to watch and photograph trains during the day, but the sun is in the wrong spot in the afternoon....but the overpass is sweet. Here's the last two trains of the day - BNSF5103 leaving the yard with some armour as BNSF7544 enters and another eastbound BNSF5188.
