Some more from the Connecticut Electric Railway (Museum) at Warehouse Point in August 1961.

Connecticut Co. work motor 2023. Note how the controller is built through the front dashboard.

Connecticut Co. double truck Birney 3001.

Remember when Guilford called ltself "Springfield Terminal"? Well, Combine 16 is one of the few pieces of equipment the original Springfield Terminal owned.

La proxima semana, vamonos a Veracruz y sus tranvias.

How about some stations and structures this week...
First stop, Meyersdale, PA on the old B&O

and just up the hill, the former WM depot, now a visitor center for the rail trail.

A little Before and After in Hampstead, Maryland... First, 1987...

Then a couple of years ago.  It's now used as an office.

A little closer to home... Federalsburg, Maryland on the M&D Cambridge line

and on the NS mainline in Laurel, Delaware.

The Stewartstown's little shack in Shrewsbury around 1979... Does anyone know if this is still standing?

And finally...

The old Ma & Pa depot in Whiteford, Maryland, shot around 1991.

I pass this about 4 times a day. Finally pulled over to take a pic. NYC jade green under there. Was a storage shed for company baseball fields of the local steel mill:

A couple of shots from St. Denis back on March 30th...

A couple of ES44AH units pulling an all-CSX coal train...

Included in the train were some interesting hoppers...these are apparently former covered hoppers rebuit without a roof; notice the gates on the bottom.

Note that all the hoppers in the train were 3-bay units with either CSXT or NYC reporting marks.

Lee, The Shrewsbury station in your pic was still standing 2 years ago.
Pretty much in the same shape shown, but with part of the roof cut off in the back for truck clearance.
Tim,I found out those hoppers with the slide bottoms are used for ore service.

To get in on the stations and structures. A couple years ago I went to see what I could find left from the Waterloo Cedar Falls and Northern.

I found this in Waverly.  It had a WCF&N shaped dark spot on the side and I got excited and confused because it shouldn't have been on there at all.  Turns out someone with the railroad was just a fan.

In LaPorte City there are actually two depots.  The first one downtown.

Then after they cut back the street trackage, they made this depot which is now a private residence.

I'm sure many have thought about owning a depot but in this case I think I'd rather have the substation next door (thought I had a better picture though).

Then here are Gilbertville and Center Point respectively.

The last one requires some imagination.  The WCF&N's downtown Waterloo depot.

Right behind the SUV where the State Farm Insurance sign was the the depot.  There was a canopy over the side walk and there would have been two tracks in the street.
