I'd love to scoop a few of these for the Soo Line Nicollet Industrial Spur switching layout I am planning on building.

Yes it is.   I still have a soft spot for the Midwest as I have family in WI and MN.

I'm the same way.  I think I'm destined to model Dayton's Bluff. What's not to like about action like this:

Three roads not including RI transfers and Amtrak.  I think before BN and the CGW mergers, you could have 6+ roads at this location with all the transfers.  It's still good for CP, TCW, BNSF, Amtrak and UP.

I always thought Minnesota Transfer would be a cool subject for that reason.

I recently found somemore of my old slides and some are of Soo Line trains in Jacksonville, FL during the mid 70's.  Apparently they had some runthrus with SCL back then.  As soon as I get them placed on CD's, I'll post them in Protophoto.
