As part of their 75th anniversary celebration, MRMag will feature what they are calling "Landmark Layouts". The first installment is The Cumberland Valley System.

An excellent choice.  I hope my copy arrives in the next day or so.  I'm planning to have a bad head cold this weekend, and it will make excellent reading under such circumstances...

I would love to see more of that layout. I would hate if they use the same photo's from the past. I still have those issues and don't need to pay for the same stuff all over.

The concept os a good one - if new photos are included. Personally, If I need to check out the layout - I'll pop in the Allen Keller video of the layout (Great Model Railroad series). It's pretty good - and on High Def (?) VHS too !

Since the new editor came the mag seem alot better. n scale layouts a article about handlaying track and the next progect layout is NOT a
4 x 8 footer but a shelf layout.

I'm always amused by MR. It's always been the same since I 1st read it - new and improved!

I have read some decent issues lately though.

I'm still highly offended by the "pike size" N&W train article they did a while ago - it was oh so wrong ...
