Hello Friends

I'm very happy to annouce that John Cubbins 3th Diorama arrived in
Switzerland. Acutally he planed to make a snow Diorama as my Christmas
Present but I'm very lucky that he find the time to make an other
Diorama during the sommertime. He allowed me to share the progress with
everybody on my Website. This time you can also read and see what can
go wrong during the progress and how to fix it. :-)
John, I really want to thank you for your stunning work!

Tom, it's the mix between John's and your incredible talent. Having your weathered Engines and Cars on John's Diorama makes it easy to take great pictures. My goal is to show what's possible in Z scale and you guys are raising the bar.

I would seriously think about sending these back to John, and have him modify them to be connected together. Then have him make a pair of reverse loop diorama's with DCC auto reverser's, so you can setup a working display! That would really look great because all 3 follow the same theme.

Rob, John and I talked about that and we maybe will have something like Minimodules in the near future. For me it's not important to run Trains on this Dioramas because I love to take pictures. If I want to run my Trains, I've a 7 meter Microtrack "Layout" to play with. :)

There was a yahoo group with guys building what they call T Trak modules, that are very small table top modules. But what I am getting at is that if John Cubbin is making so may diorama's, that maybe he can come up with a standard where they can all be connected together and trains ran.

What I think would be cool is to use them to make small Youtube videos. You cna have one shot of a train entering a module, then from the other side another shot leaving the module, and so on. then have a train of enpties coming back from the other direction. Lots of fun possibilities, and on such superdetailed diorama modules, it would be hard to tell what scale iti is.
