Aren't those 1:150 and larger? Seem to recall a recent discussion on the N scale vehicle list.
Yes they are 1:150 vs 1:160 for N-scale, and it is sometimes called Japanese N scale, as that's how they are marked on the box "N scale" and "1:150" on the same package. Of course that means a difference of .1 inch for a 20' long vehicle. Could explain why all the Kato built hoods for SD and GP units are too wide :
I think they fit fine size-wise next to my mini metals.
I keep saying I'll do it, since I have almost all the collections, but never get around to it. I will post photos of the car collections 1, 2, 3 and 4 and Trailer collections 1 and 2 and Truck collection 3 and a few of the Bus collections I have. Mixed in with some mini-metals for size comparisons. Look for them sometime Tuesday or Wednesday. I'll try to add photos of the Bandai Working Vehicle sets I also have.
