Are all the 44-tonner shells gone?

I have known for a while that A&EC had one, but I'd always figured that it stayed in Kinston.

Today I saw a picture of it sitting in front of the Newport station with a passenger train.

This, of course, means that now I need one.

This, of corse, means that now I need one.

I have at least 2 good ones of the JnJ batch that are solid and firm, not like some of the later ones that were described as spongy if someone else can't step in. I haven't done any work on them so they could be used to make a new mold. I'd gladly offer one of the shells up to the molding gods if that means there would be more shells available but I'm not sure I'm good enough at making molds and casting to offer to do it myself.

Give Randy a ring, he is working on it.
