Any layout pics will be reposts since it was torn down last spring before I moved. In all of 2006 the only modeling I did was one boxcar kit! BUT things are calming down and I should have a house again in a month or two.
I think I'll be joining Tom as a diorama builder for a while, since I'll only have half a spare bedroom. Garages here in Florida are about as hospitable as the surface of Mercury most of the year. I like the concept of layout as "Game Console"... a frame with attached staging where a middle diorama can easily be swapped out. Beyond techniques, that solves the bigger problems of picking RR, locale, era, season - And makes moving easier.
