I was not sure whether or not to start this today, as last week's only drew one other response - thanks Lenny. But, I have a great many more photos to share, some better than others. At two a week, I've got enough (72 photos) to last through next June!

Anyhow, here are a couple of shots from Willard, Ohio, on August 27, 1957. A 2-10-2 and a 4-8-2 on the B&O:

Now, let's see if y'all can increase participation this week.  8)

Here are a couple of shots taken while visiting my mom in Kankakee, IL for Thanksgiving.

A freight steps out over the Kankakee River on the former IC mainline. I'm hoping to build an N-scale module with this bridge on it:

Kankakee's Amtrak station and railroad museum. Not too bad for a grab shot from a moving car:

Here's an interesting hopper I found in Cumberland, Maryland recently. I
assume it's a ballast hopper (?) but I've never seen this particular body
style before. It was the only one in the train...definitely worth adding to
my photo collection!

Here is an Erie Berkshire running down the middle of the street on a gantlet track in Warren OH. The locomotive is right at the frog of the gantlet, the station is right behind the photographer.

2 blocks behind the locomotive is where the newspaper is I work for and also where the gantlet ended. In the 1970's they ripped up the tracks and relocated them behind the houses on the right. Now even those are gone.

Here is another photo from the same location in 1949:

You can see the station and tracks curving toward the road they run down the middle of for 2 blocks.

Found this one as well:

My Grandfather is under the road number standing, he was part of this 4 man locomotive crew for Republic Steel in the Pittsburgh area.

I went up to St Dennis Md this morning .. missed the Bennet Levin E8s on AMTRAK ..

Here is one of the empty Powder River UP coal trains heading west on the Old Main Line .. I normally don't do artsy fartsy shots, but played around with Graphic Workshop a little today ..

6151 leading a Q174 intermodal ..

And much to the surprise of all, Santa came stumbling by, reeking of Jack D, with little bells on ..
