It's Thursday again, and time for some photos of the "real thing". This week, we have two photos of an Alco S6 on the FFCC Unidos del Sureste in Merida, Yucatan. Note the trucks on the tank car coupled to the switcher's nose. Those are indeed archbar trucks. Proof that you can see anything on the prototype if you look long enough!

Here's the Maryland and Delaware, a few miles from where I now live...  A little CF7 goodness for you Santy Feh types.

Great shots Wes, hadn't realized that the Blackpool trams were still operating. Somehow I'd gotten the impression they had all been scattered to museums around the world. Perhaps it was just the open cars.

Adelaide looks like a nice city to live in, with old trams running MU to boot!  8)

I first saw and rode on the Blackpool Trams in 1968 when I was 12. It only took me another 38 years to go back and photograph them. Unfortunately they have been spoilt somewhat by the all over advertising and the whole system is in urgent need of an upgrade.

The old trams in Adelaide (the H class) are running on borrowed time. Apart from the odd peak hour commuter run and tourist services at weekends, they will have been replaced by the newer models by the end of the year.

A few more trams next week......
