Kato Mikado drawbar

I'm sure this has been addressed, but is there a substitute (or the real thing) for a Kato Mikado drawbar?  The Kato website is perpetually "out of stock".

Thank you.

At one point, https://www.springcreekmodeltrains.com had some 3D printed drawbars. I got two from them back in 2021. I had to email them, they were not posted online. You need to provide your own wiring of some sort. I do not know what the status is now. Forum member Mark W (https://www.therailwire.net/forum/index.php?action=profile;u=2892) told me about them, but Mark has not posted here in quite some time.

Broken?  Missing?  Just want it shorter?

You can seriously hotwire around them as the 'thin wire to post' method isn't all that good.   Then it's a matter of fabricating one out of something durable.   Plastruct styrene is particularly tough.  Can't use metal with the split frame.

I've become a real fan of the ultra-tiny TCS plugs.

The wires on these are incredibly soft.  I've got a six-pin in my Decapod build without issues, and a two-pin so I can get the tender body off with the speaker mounted in the coal pile.

The GHQ L1 Mikado conversion actually shortened them and had a procedure.   Did that to mine.

I just sent you a PM. I have a half dozen or so of the Kato drawbars I was going to put on that auction site.

Not sure if my message to you was sent, but I would like one drawbar.  My email is bevrich203@aol.com.
