These cars look really good.  Since you sell those cars wouldn't it make sense to also post this info in the Product Discussion section?  That's where new products are announced, and probably not everybody looks at the 3D Printing section of the forum.

Is the car one piece? Not being persnickety, I like these, but I'm wondering how easy it would be to thin out the end walkways and replace the end ladders. Working on a one piece print makes it more challenging.
Failing to prepare is preparing to fail.

Its a one piece print.
And you are right about the end ladders and walkways.
Changing that to be more prototypical coud easily be done but I did this on purpose.

In real life the walkways are not massive but in model that would be to prone to damage, certainly in N scale (in my opinion).
I also could not find suiteble/correct brass end ladders.
My thought was: if someone has better end/side ladders just remove the printed ones and there is a solid walkway to attach them to.
If you have a better suggestion/solution let me know and thanks anyway for your comment.

Dirk, am I correct that these are ATSF class Ga-42? (among other roads that had identical/similar cars)
Tom D.

I have a mind like a steel trap...a VERY rusty, old steel trap.

Yes sir... these are the Ga-42 class delivered in 1928..... last one out of service mid 70's.
Also used by many other railroads, large and small.... and probably later than the mid 70's as well.
