More 80macs from Kato?

I saw 80macs in today's Hobby Search email: https://www.1999.co.jp/eng/11112280

Then @GonzoCRFan turned up this:
https://x.com/yokohamamodels/status/1819224353869042162

Is Kato secretly doing more 80macs?

It'd be a "just weird enough to be true" thing if it were.

I'm just looking out for my homies. They're about 15 years too modern for me.

I mean, they did just ship a new run of 90/43MACs earlier this year. Wonder if they found the 80MAC tooling in the same closet and went "Oh, we forgot we had this!"

Those are all new numbers...so good possibility.

The particular NS unit #s listed were those acquired via CSX in 2015.

Kato doing East Coast? Pretty sure this is one of the signs of impending apocalypse.
