I can't find any evidence that the mini sub flat car set exists (maybe it wat taken down on the website?), but it's a plausible set because the real mini sub currently at the National Museum of the Pacific War was paraded around the country during the war to raise war bonds.  I'm sure there are photos out there of it on a flat car because it's too big and heavy to fit on a truck.

As of 7/30/24 0737 Central.. They only updated the advanced orders, but not the single car releases for August?

This inspired me to see if there are photos taken of the mini sub captured at Pearl Harbor during its war bond tour and there are… all of which feature the sub on a truck. Interestingly, the truck operator, Bigge Drayage of Oakland, CA, still exists but as a crane company.

Aside from a number of images from the tour (tours?) all across the country, all seemingly on the same truck, there is a single image at Flickr of it on about a 40’ USN flat. Considerable overhang involved, but no idlers are in the image.

@Gozer the Gozerian - Will that small tug boat be sold separately?

@Gozer the Gozerian Joe, any chance you can spill the beans on whether we can expect some farm and construction equipment from MTL similar to the military range (ala M1 Abrams and Humvee injection molded vehicles) as loads for this great new range of flat cars? Thanks

I wonder if that "Save the Monarch Butterfly " boxcar is prototypical? It's very nice looking.

Looks like a couple PFE reefers for me this month, nice to see a rerun of the 1950s scheme not done since the first release!

@Gozer the Gozerian Joe those flats look amazing! Better then the Intermountain 60 footers and rivals some HO offerings. I can't wait for some 1970s appropriate releases to get my dirty hands on some.
The Railwire is not your personal army.
