Got into the paint booth tonight. First time in a couple of years to actually paint and not for weathering. WP GS-64 conversion and a soon to be ATSF 44-tonner.

The Oliver Bridge is double deck. There is a two lane highway on the bottom and a single track on the top. The bridge crosses the St. Louis River and connects Wisconsin and Minnesota. Some history if you’re interested:

The car has just been delivered, and is waiting its first load, so no cow pies yet.

Why do I say this?  Note the lack of weathering, and the "NEW 5-28(?)".  It hasn't been shopped, or even reweighed, and is clean, so must be brand-new.

It does need to be weathered a bit.  It's part of my "early" 20th century train, so it's at the recent end of the time period which is roughly 1900-1930.

This is Tru-Color Engine Black TCP-347. The 44-tonner has been stripped, I thought I was painting a gloss clear over it and it was a flat so redoing it.

Are you still on an HO kick or is that N scale?

I'm actually moving back to N-scale for at home. Northwestern Pacific in the early 50's
