So they announced:
“The cars come standard with our metal wheels and magnetically operating knuckle couplers”
Did I miss what that entails… BLMA 100 T wheels/trucks w/ MT body mount couplers?

Looking forward to seeing how they print on that surface.  Pad printing and uneven surfaces can be a challenge...I'll need to keep my eyes peeled for SP Friendly gons...very excited about these.

The dented panels don't seem all that uneven.  Or who knows, maybe they'll be using ink-jet decorating like MTL does.  :D

Did CSX not have any cars like this ?  I'd figure that would have been a scheme by the 2nd run

I know I've never seen any pictures of a CSX car like this in revenue service. The prototype is too old. But it's possible a few made it to MOW orange.

Pennsy had several classes of 52'6" gondolas... Hoping to see one represented!

The L&N cars were only about 20 years old at the time CSX cars were first being painted so it's possible, but I haven't found any yet. The Pere Marquette/C&O cars were quite a bit older.

@Bluford Craig  Did the PM cars get painted over in C&O anytime early?  I'm looking at no later than 1950 or '51.

I am a little out of my depth, but these have the correct rib pattern-

Here's what I think is a Greenville (or similar) car in MoW on CSX, numbered for CSXT- http://www.rrpicturearchives.net/showPicture.aspx?id=820094

Here is another, that is identified in the Railroad Picture Archives ( http://www.rrpicturearchives.net/rsList.aspx?id=CSX&cid=6&Page=87 ) as former L&N 171937 blt 1966.

and one ID'ed as ex-Seaboard  http://www.rrpicturearchives.net/showPicture.aspx?id=5392524

Well, even though these have one more rib/panel than the B&O O-27 gons, I would buy some of the light and medium dent versions if they were painted in an early 1950s scheme (or earlier).

Why count panels if you don't count rivets ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ ?

These are from a different batch of L&N gons built around the same time. The rib profiles are a bit different but the CSX lettering layout should be about the same.

Because with my current bifocal prescription I can still see the panels.

A B&O O-27 has 13 panels (2 less) and is only 46' ID, with straight sides (and fishbelly centerbeam) and was built 20 years earlier than the first Erie Greenvilles (52'6" ID, 15 panels, fishbelly sides), and originally had different ends (although ends did get replaced over the years, no doubt).

Which leads me to think that you probably meant some other class of gondolas on the B&O- perhaps an O-59 (done by tangent in HO) from the late 1930s- which would be the same length, and has much the same overall 'look'.
