'Pocket' Oscilloscope for DCC?

I'm thinking of updating my old DMM, and perhaps replacing it with something like this that can also do some basic oscilloscope tasks.  Would this also be usable for tasks such as reading a DCC waveform, or motor PWM signals?  Or is it just too wimpy for that?

(I'm not really interested in a 4+ figure scope, or something that needs a PC/laptop to work.)

TIA,
Ed

I think there are also inexpensive smart phone oscilloscope adapters out there. They would have better resolution screen (since they use the high-res smart phone display.

You don't have to go 4+ figures.  Oscilloscopes have gotten amazingly cheap now.  I think if it were me, I'd shoot for more of the small light "real" digital scopes that cost more like $200.  A screen size of more like 7" just seems so much more friendly and useful than the little one you'll get in that DMM.  Plus, it's nice having a separate DMM to use while the scope is running.
Something like this:
https://www.amazon.com/Hantek-Oscilloscope-DSO2C10-Bandwidth-Sampling/dp/B08MDRF6L3/ref=sr_1_31?crid=3AQ3FV89NGE91&keywords=hantek%2Bdigital%2Boscilloscope&qid=1704871060&s=industrial&sprefix=hantek%2Bdigital%2Boscilloscope%2Cindustrial%2C152&sr=1-31&ufe=app_do%3Aamzn1.fos.f5122f16-c3e8-4386-bf32-63e904010ad0&th=1

I know, I know, $200 is a lot more than $79.
Maybe not as compact as a DMM, but just having that bigger display and a full set of human physical controls (instead of a phone swipey screen-app thing) looks so much more user friendly to me.
