I'm assuming you're going to add some modest undulation to the land.  Typically I like to permanently install a foundation that rises above the ground a couple of scale feet, then I add tabs that hold the building in place.  I use micro plugs for the wiring, so the female end is in the "basement", and the building simply gets plugged in, and set in place over the nesting tabs.
If you run the tabs the full length of the foundation wall and paint them black, there's no light leaks, or, if you use a floor to build an interior, you can use posts at the corners rather than tabs to hold the building in place.
If the object of the game is to remove the structures to stow them so you can take the modules safely to a show, this method works well.  You can landscape right up to the foundation, and everything looks permanently mounted when it's set up.  You can also permanently install things like steps to the landscape and such that would be more fragile if they're hanging off the sides of the buildings.

Actually, no. The two forefront areas are both dealers, one an aggregate dealer, shipping to and from barges, and the second is a scrap yard to and from barges, both to rail. The scape will be overrun with machine and vehicle tracks. Each will also have its own two track gravel road atop the dirt layer to their respective offices.

So, as someone correctly mentioned above, I will be flushing the dirt to the thickness of the false foundations. Just looking for the best way to temporarily attach the platforms for easy removal, trying not to damage the new dirt (unsanded grout).

Yes, Saran stretches pretty well, so you can probably get away with stretching it over the sides from a bottom wrap, so that there are not wrinkles/folds in it.  The problem is going to be that if you stretch it too tight at the corners to eliminate folds on the side surfaces, the sharp corners may cut through the wrap there.

At least the wrap going across the bottom with some sticking up above the sides will probably serve the purpose of handles on the top to pull the base mold out of the dried grout.
