New technology being developed for 3D printing. Instead of printing layer by layer, it prints the whole object at the same time. Small objects print in 20 seconds to 1 minute. Also does not need supports.

Interesting, still a ways off though. Parts looked very gummy and square cubed law is going to be hell with print volume being dependent on a fluid filled cylinder that spins.

I remember seeing this years ago. Something was printed inside a little vial filled with liquid. It looked like it was spinning while printing.

Seems to me that the technology could be easily commercialized so maybe won’t be that far off.
