I would like to comment on the subtle beauty of the N&W autorack.

Yes, very very nice look.   And Trailer Train to boot.   Do one just like that for BN or SP and I'm all over it.

I do not own a single piece of Conrail equipment. Never have, never will. It doesn't exist in my alternate history. But that 3 pack is EXACTLY the look more of the MT weathered set releases need.

I wonder how long that NW autorack ran in that condition before getting an NS repaint?

The decks on the bulkhead flats are impressive. I love UP, but probably not buying these.  We need longer bulkhead flats.

@Rossford Yard  Do you?   :P     Drawing lines isn't your strong point.   :D

I would take one of the UP cars if you want to split up a 3-pack.

New Year's Resolution......for this year, last year, 2021, etc.  Maybe this time it will stick.

These are in at MBK and there's a 10% off code still good for a few hours.

Mine will likely be ready for pickup tomorrow.

@MTLJoe , can I put in another request for a run like this of "boring" Conrail cars?
I now have so many awesome works of art that I now need some boring old filler.

Hey, hey, no cuts !  He has to get this one out first....

Here's the other side that I just stumbled on
http://www.rrpicturearchives.net/showPicture.aspx?id=4856800

I'd like a 3 pack of these guys.  KWT has a ton of fallen flag roads, or just plain jane cars that have no obvious previous owner markings.  Dal-Tile gets them on a regular basis.  Caught this one awhile back

That car looks interesting, but due to possible legal issues, MTL no longer uses prototypical accurate graffiti on their models.  We sure  live in a strange world.

They just do "close enough" graffiti.  While I think it's bull, that's the legal system for you. And we just need to live with it for now.

There is a photo of that very # on Railcarphotos - dated 12/7/1992, so this one made it at least that far.

They're not absolutely perfect. I'll likely hit them with some dullcote at some point just to help bring everything to the same level of flatness, but damn, do they REALLY look good out of the box.
