Maybe it is a plate, but to me it would make sense in H0 scale to represent it using just paint. After all, how thick would that plate be? 1/16" or thinner? that is 0.0007". That is basically a thick layer of paint.

I realize you mentioned using paint earlier in this thread, but it seems that the idea that it needs to be something more substantial is persisting. I just added come actual numbers to your idea.
Its the vertical form in the middle of the plate that ruins the idea of a painted rectangle.
Anyone have an opinion on the color? NYC Jade Green? PC Green? Something else?
Mask the outside of rectangle, fill with filler of choice, sand flush, add push tab. Mask than paint.
Exactly as I mentioned earlier.@peteski , a wire would leave holes under it whaler the doer valleys are.
Would painting a rectangle to represent the plate and a piece of fine wire glued in the middle also painted be the easiest way?
Take a fine sharp new blade and gently score where the wire goes until the piece of wire is recessed to your liking. Mask an area the size of the plate and paint.
Lemosteam, I've admired my your post. You possess skills I could only dream about. If you want credit for saying it first. Feel free.
