Thanks Peteski. That doesn't sound too awful, lol! It's just getting a bit harder at 60+.
...Since only one driver is geared, I was going to suggest just removing the bottom plate which holds the driver would allow lifting the driver to work on it. No quartering and gear alignment to worry about. But then I remember all the tiny springs in the driver axle suspension - that might get ugly. Never mind. Servicing N scale steam locos (just like getting old) is not for sissies.
