The NP Slumbercoach name I always liked was Loch Ness.  How many passenger cars deserved their own monster?

IIRC, the 4 box Kato set had the monster in it.

Always thought that was cool.

It had the car, but no monster as such.  One had to supply their own.

As far as I know, the NP never tried to use the name in marketing, or do anything special with the car.  They could have at least put a picture of Nessie in it!

I found out that there was at least one dome coach w/ crew room for the TCZ, SILVER BLUFF.
It seems that this one is not readily available. The windows at least on one side are different.

The car on the left should represent a parlor car. It is a stand-in as Nate suggested earlier in this thread.





On both cars the trucks and chassis were black. I painted these with a brush and I'm happy with it because it is not that even.
Clean but not a perfect surface as the body.

Absolutely love them.  They're a little pricey, but I have so much fun assembling trains within them.  The sliding dust covers are great, and they are compact overall.

I have found 8ft wide is good for most of what I do.

I've got some 6'x2' HO Cases where I can double stack items, but, I'm looking for something where I put full trainsets together..
...like my Concor Pacemaker set of 24 cars..

Thanks, and yes.  Erie Builts on display with the Olympian.  Fast 15 E6's on the Fast Mail.  And the E7's sitting there undecorated because I need to get off my duff for the Morning Hi.  The secondary train below those is the Columbian.

The Morning Hi that had the Flexivan incident had an FP-7 and an Erie-Built as power MILW-Chicago.   Both in UP/MILW paint...c.1963.

I like this ex 400 coach. Do you know who removed the skirts, the C&NW or the CB&Q?

My guess would be the C&NW, because the GN's second-hand cars had the same modifications.
