Thank you.  I have Loksound in it.  My friend whipped up a custom horn file from the 6342's horn on the DL for it.  It sounds great.

Man, those C636s are beasts.

WNY&P 637 -631- 638 are north bound on the NS Buffalo Line with the Driftwood turn. After switching cars, we watch as Brain Welch handles the throttle leaving Turtle Point, PA. Fine show of what Alco's are all about. The second clip at South Eldred has the north bound DFT meeting the Farmers Valley train with ex NYC-PC C430 #431 running long hood forward.

Following the south bound Driftwood turn (DFT) on the ex-PRR Buffalo line. The signals at Sizerville are now de-activated

Here we find WNYP's "DFT", Driftwood turn on September 7, 2012 pulling over Keating Summit, putting the M636's into dynamic, and easing the string of about 30 empty stone cars down the steep grade then let'er her ride into Emporium.

Wonder how WNY&P's guys felt about them. The NYSW's crews hated those Alcos with a passion.

That explains why NYSW left 2 of the ALCo demonstrator models to suffer freeze damage such that they were only good for parts units when LAL/WNY&P bought the 6 units in the early 2000's.

I'm thinking the WNY&P crews liked them for the most part or else they wouldn't have run them for so long.  But I've not seen any proof in print.

  My parts came in and I took a pic.  I kinda like the NS plow minus the doors.  Not great but ok.  Ns plow, western plow, 2 different gps domes.

So I ordered one of their short compressed Argon tank cars.  We see these weekly here on the coast going back and forth to one or another refinery.



It arrived slick - which I think is uncured resin, so I have it under the lamp of my Aero Garden, which puts out enough light (including some UV) for us to grow monster lettuce inside. 

If anyone has any other curing techniques I can try without a fancy 3d printer curing machine I'm all ears.

If I can get the resin to cure I'm ok.  The print actually rendered well, and the few print lines that are visible appear to be easy to fill with primer.

Interesting. Back in the early 90s I wandered into the W&W's main office in Virginia - ended up chatting with the President (I still have his card somewhere). At the time, they were running a bunch of old RS11s and I asked about that - he said they loved the way they pulled.

Granted, RS11s aint C636/M636s. :D

I lined a carboard box with aluminum foil and UV LEDs.

(Still if you don't actually have a printer you're probably not looking at spending money on UV LEDs that you won't use otherwise...)

For just occasional things like this you can just put them in sunlight for a while and use the natural UV.

Normally I would, but today is the first day in almost a month we have had heat indices BELOW 100 Degrees.
