I really miss Dull-Cote.
Ed - there seems to be a lot of it still for sale on Amazon...
I don't know why I didn't think about that.I have now added a 4 pack to the cart.Thanks!
Testors is owned by Rustoleum, so this appears to be the same exact stuff
This is interesting:https://www.homedepot.com/p/Rust-Oleum-Universal-11-oz-All-Surface-Dead-Flat-Clear-Topcoat-Spray-Paint-342482/307244776If it is the same it's a much bigger can.
Later in that thread I posted several have said they tried it (and also the Krylon) and found it seemed thicker than Testors brand.
Thing I've always said about Dullcote it that it didn't really matter how thick you put it on because it just disappears.
I received two 2'x4' Masterpiece Module kits, and am very happy with what I have seen of the kit so far.
I have to say that I am not impressed with Tamiya Flat Clear as a Dullcote replacement. It's not nearly as "flat" as it claims. (Attachment Link)
Hi Lee, it's a 3 pole skew wound Mabuchi almost identical to what is in a Bachmann White Box 4-8-4 Northern, It's quiet and no ozone smell like the Bachmanns, better response all for $2.26 NZD + a couple of bucks postage from Aliexpress in China.
Lee,Is that the same Mabuchi I'm using in my Rivarossi motor rebuilds? This thing? If so, that's a darn solid motor.
