I recently ordered a batch of custom-cut vinyl module names, in proper Penn Central font.

Looks good.  Is that Microgramma Bold Italic (or generically called Eurostyle) typeface?  I do like the looks of that typeface (not just for Conrail).

For the record, it's "Eurostile", which is not a generic. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eurostile

PC did in fact use Microgramma Bold Extended Italic. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Microgramma_(typeface)

The specific font name used was Square721-BdEx-BT-Bold, which was the closest thing we could find in a TTF.

Never would have guessed that Penn Central and Star Trek used the same font.

Maybe the PC should have let the ST management crew run the railroad.  Their business has lasted a lot longer!
