Here’s what I did on my layout. I made these using off the shelf oak found at Home Depot. They are pretty much all the way around my layout, and some are on a piano hinge and caster wheel to open them up to access storage underneath.

Those are quite good looking, and a clever use of space.  Got any design sketches to share?

Yes very nice.  I have storage shelves under my tables.
