Thanks Max! Now I seem to vaguely recall that in the past you did mention that source of tungsten. The price seems a bit steep, but if you say it is a good deal, I believe you. I was hoping for something less pricey. I recently picked up a package of pure tungsten 1/8" diameter TIG welding electrodes on eBay for $28. Their total weight is 270g, but they can't be packed as tightly as cubes, and they have to be cut.
How about a video of it running?
Amazing you can work on Shapeways parts in raw form. It is like working with crystal.
I hate hate HATE it. Never again. I will use commercial styrene engine bodies as kitbash fodder, or scratch build everything. But this is the first and last time using brittle FUD plastic for me.
Even after following the instructions for chrome to set images to show, I am unable to see them.Any other way of seeing them.

I hope John LeMerise doesn't see this.
Ha! Well, I certainly meant no disrespect to John. He does superb work and I think making add-on kits with detail parts is a great idea. But trying to retrofit an operating mechanism into what is essentially a frame made of FUD... no. Not a fan. And drilling/cutting/adapting a whole FUD body shell for a kitbash, drilling it, cutting it to add things to it... very frustrating stuff.(But then, people would probably say it's awful trying to do that with all brass and metal pieces, too, so to each his own).
Already said I'm working on that... a few posts back.
